Established in 1999, the American Le Mans Series has become North America’s, and one of the world’s, leading motor sports series.

Four categories of cars make up the 40+ strong grid, consisting of two classes of prototypes and two classes of production-based GT cars. Robertson Racing campaigns two custom built Doran Ford GTs in  the GT2 class,  competing head to head with the European  titans of Ferraris, Porches, Jaguars and Lolas.

Held since 1923, the Le Mans 24 Hours remains the oldest and most prestigious motorsports event in  the world. Race teams, manufacturers and drivers often base their entire seasons around preparing for this event and often compete in championship races around the globe as test runs for this most venerable of all sports car races.

A total of 56 cars and 168 drivers will compete across four classes this year, racing approximately 380 laps of this 13.65km course. 

Robertson Racing has been awarded an entry to this prestigious of all race by the Automobile Club de l'Quest (ACO). The teams #68 Elan powered Ford GT will compete in the LM GTE-Am class. Robertson's second Ford GT stands by as the GT categories first reserve in the event of potential withdrawals elsewhere in the field.
