Michelin On Board for 2011

The French company is the most successful tire manufacturer in ALMS history, having helped take 33 class titles and over 100 wins since the series’ inception in 1999.

Team Manager Andrew ‘H’ Smith states, “Having Michelin onboard is a real coup considering their phenomenal success in GT and sportscar racing around the world, and naturally we can’t wait to start developing the partnership.

Robertson Racing’s first run on Michelin tires was at Sebring on 1/2 February ahead of the annual pre-season ALMS winter test. The team will then return to Sebring for the 12-hour championship opener on 16-19 March.
